Temp Cook™ Induction Technology
Lets you set an exact temperature from 120°F to 400°F for precise control beyond standard high, medium and low settings. Dual sensors in the cooktop help keep your pan from overheating, so you can take on ambitious recipes with delicious results, batch after batch.
Temp Cook™ Smart Presets
Set and hold the ideal temperature for popular cooking methods and alert when to add ingredients, so you can perfectly sear salmon, gently simmer sauces and quickly boil water. Use the KitchenAid™ App to unlock specialized options like stir fry, melt, chicken cutlets and more.
Two Even-Heat™ Zones
Adds versatility to cook with large pans, like griddles, grill pans and braising pans, or two pans at two different temperatures. Unlike traditional round bridge elements with heating gaps, the rectangular zone heats evenly edge-to-edge, so the crepe in the back cooks just as beautifully as the one in the center.
WipeClean™ Coating
Eliminates scraping, intense scrubbing and harsh cleaners, making this the easiest induction cooktop coating to clean. Just wet the surface with water and wait five minutes to easily wipe up splatters and spills.
Voice Control
Lets you control the cooktop with your Google Assistant, so you can stay hands-on while prepping the rest of your meal or entertaining. Simple voice commands let you set cooking modes for each zone and adjust the heat as needed.
Backlit Touch Controls
Illuminate when in use and fade unobtrusively into the cooktop’s sleek black glass when turned off. Individual controls for each cooking zone provide quick access to Temp Cook™ Smart Presets and 18 manual power levels.
Frameless Design
Allows flush installation for a seamless look or standard installation to fit an existing cooktop cutout.
Works with Most High-Quality Cookware
Such as multi-ply stainless steel, enamelled steel or cast iron. Aluminum and copper cookware will not work unless it has a base made of iron or steel. Look for pans marked "Works with Induction" or test to see if a magnet will stick to the bottom.
Power Boost Function
Reaches a boil over 2.5x faster than our electric cooktops by heating the selected cooking zone above the maximum power level for up to 10 minutes.
Guided Recipes
In the KitchenAid™ App send step-by-step instructions to your cooktop, perfectly preheating your pan while you prep ingredients, then automating cook times and temperature changes, so you can expand your skills and explore new techniques with confidence.
Pan Size Detection
Recognizes the size and placement of cookware to generate heat directly within the pan. Display will alert you if you turn the cooktop on without a pan on the selected element or if your pan is not compatible with induction cooking.
Five Cooking Zones
Let you cook with up to five pans at once, empowering a variety of cooking adventures. Each of the two Even-Heat™ Zones can be used as one large element or two separate elements, adding versatility for griddles or two pans at once. An 11" round element fits stock pots and skillets.
